The technical design process turns the conceptual design ideas into a realistic and workable scheme, ensuring that the optimal solution is found.

The technical design will provide detailed CAD drawings showing luminaire locations and information relating to the control of the lighting equipment; including schedule information of the luminaire locations, lamp type, wattage, and power requirements. Lighting control schematics together with control intent and programming channel schedules will also be provided.

3D Lighting CAD software is used throughout the process calculating light levels and providing visualisations of the lighting scheme, where necessary. Working within the virtual 3D environment means that we are able to see the final installed design and ensure that all aspects have been carefully considered - alleviating the potential for mistakes whilst providing the client with a clear view of the intended final design.
